There are benefits when a financial institution partners with a local realtor. Two CU Companies professionals, Realtor/Broker Don Janisch, and Mortgage Production Manager Jason Groth, have a discussion about the confidence CU Companies owners and partners feel when working with a realtor.
First, Janisch offers, the owners and partners using CU Companies REALTY are assured their borrower is getting the best service possible. "We go the extra mile for those home buyers. We are one big family operation and are here to make the owner/partner look even better in the buyer's eyes."
CU Realty agents use the latest technologies to help sell the borrower's home, including YouTube, Facebook, and smart phone downloads. Agents have also been spotted mowing lawns and shoveling snow to help make the exterior of the home more appealing. "It's like working with a sub-contractor; once you find a good person to work with, you stay with them. It's nice to hand off a project to someone that you know you can trust, and one that will get the job done right," said Janisch.
Groth adds, "It's a two-way street when our realtors team up with our owners and partners. They are looking to achieve their mortgage lending goals and our realtors support that by pointing the home buyer toward that owner or partner. When that partnership is absent, the buyer will get their mortgage with whomever their agent suggests; we can keep that from happening."
CU Companies find that when a mortgage lead comes from an owner of partner, the precentage of that loan and relationship staying increases greatly. "It's about loyalty," added Groth. "We offer a bridge between home buying and selling and the mortgage so our owners and partners can better succeed."
"Additionally, if a problem arises during the home buying process and needs immediate attention, we have a whole team of realty agents, title agents, loan officers, processors, and underwriter all in one place working together," said Janisch. "There aren't too many companies out there that can compete with that."
Included with the full service that comes with a partnership with CU Realty, agents as well as a CU Companies loan officer deliver home buying seminars quarterly at CU Companies location in New Brighton, MN. Owners and partners many also offer the seminar at their locations. "Home buying seminars are a great way to familiarize potential borrowers (and home owners) with the complete service their financial institutes can deliver. We are there to deliver the education, our owners and partners are there to solidify the relationship with the borrower," said Groth.
