Chief Communications Officer

Hi! I’m LeAnn. I’ve been in marketing/communications for nearly 30 years, and it’s been a blast! My passion lies with helping individuals and companies establish a vision and then outline and implement a plan to get from where they are today to where they want to be in the future.

My current role is Chief Communications Officer here at The Servion Group. I lead a variety of initiatives designed to help the company grow, to include serving as liaison to our President’s Advisory Council and facilitating our strategic planning and timeline while also having the honor of guiding the marketing team’s efforts.

I started as an intern at the North Dakota Credit Union League (now known as The Credit Union Association of the Dakotas), was hired on full-time shortly thereafter to handle marketing tasks, and from there, my career took off. I had the opportunity to move to Kansas after three years at the League, so I made that leap and created the marketing department for the Kansas Credit Union Association. Deciding that living further north was best as it was closer to family, I moved up to Minnesota where I continued my marketing path at two credit unions before landing at The Servion Group.

Volunteering has been a major part of my life. I served on local, state, and national committees that promoted youth financial literacy which allowed me the opportunity to speak at several state and national conferences, organize new state committees, testify in front of the state legislature, and raise record-breaking funds for scholarships. Now I volunteer my time at my local church and towards connecting friendship, fun, and learning through my passion project.

My favorite things in life are my family, friends, and faith. If my husband and I aren’t at a cabin or hanging with the kids, we’re off on some adventure with friends—usually sporting some goofy garb. In between all of that, I save time for learning God’s Word and growing in my faith.
